Upon graduating from Keele University in the UK with a degree in International Relations, Mark joined a global recruitment firm in 1993. Transferring to the Australian arm of this firm in 1994, he was instrumental in the growth of the sales & marketing recruitment business. In 1999, Mark shared a vision with co-founder, Ian McAlpine, to establish Perceptor. Bringing sixteen years of recruitment experience to the team, Mark currently manages the Sales & Marketing discipline.

With tertiary qualifications in Commerce (Accounting) and as a Chartered Accountant, Ian made his first move in recruitment in 1994. Joining a leading international recruitment company, specialising in finance and accounting recruitment, Ian has more than sixteen years of financial recruitment experience in Sydney. In 1999, Ian co-founded Perceptor, and currently manages the Finance and Accounting discipline.
